This was a fun "read" to me. There was some reading, but mostly liked all the pictures. :p However, it makes me want to go thrift shopping and buy things that I don't need, so... there's that. I'd like to get better at decorating my house though, and this had some pretty cool ideas. This was a fun "read" to me. Anyone into up-cycling, salvage design, vintage interior design, or secondhand decorating should refer to this book for inspiration. Everything from romantic and cottage homes to mid-century modern is featured with detailed photos and tips on how you can style your home in similar fashion. Very cool book!

This book presents a crisp clean and colorful way of decorating with vintage furniture, materials, and knick-knacks that is not cluttered and fussy.

I am enjoying reading all the design/decorating books. This one, as usual, had some great pictures.

This book is about repurposing flea market finds and displaying collections, to add character and interest to your home. The pictures give great examples and are very inspiring! The photo descriptions give back-story, insight, and encourage you to take a deeper look at each picture. The main text, however, I found to be cliche, beginner-level decorating advice, much of it based on the writer's personal taste. Gorgeous book. There were some good ideas in here but I think the greatest value of the book was the use of color (color theory at work!) and the sense of balance in every photo. Definitely worth studying.

This was a fun and interesting read. Had a lot of great ideas for decorating and where to find
vintage items. Really lovely photos and will definitely will be trying a few of these things.
Really enjoyable and I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars.

Nice photography, but I expected more how-tos. Not anything new here but a fun book to flip through, reading the text is really unnecessary.
